Airline Loyalty: What's Changed For Frequent Flyers In 2023 & What's To Come In 2024

The world of airline loyalty has continued to shift toward more exclusive products, and 2023 was no different from any previous year. Once upon a time, any passenger with a first-class ticket on a domestic flight would be offered access to an airline lounge. Now, this is no longer the case.

Airline loyalty members throughout 2023 were continually disappointed by lounges so crowded they had to turn passengers away, privileges being removed from their level of loyalty status, and miles they had accumulated not going nearly as far as they used to. Sadly, this trend is expected to continue.
